How to Choose a Tattoo

There are no strict rules when it comes to picking a tattoo — it’s all about what feels right for you. But if you’re stuck, here are two questions to help guide you:

1. What should we create?

The most exciting option is when we come up with something unique together. How does it work? You just tell me what you love or feel connected to — like: “I love smoking, playing cards, and racing cars.” Then I turn that into a cohesive design, tailored to your style and the placement on your body. This is the ideal route for a one-of-a-kind tattoo.

There’s also a hybrid approach: you browse the internet, save different images, and tell me — “I like the cigarette from this one, the cards from that one, and the car from the third.” This method works too, and it can result in something very cool.

The key is — never hesitate to share your ideas or ask questions. The more open the conversation, the better the result. A detailed discussion up front means you’re way more likely to end up with a tattoo you’ll love for years.

2. Where to Place It?

Some designs just look better on certain parts of the body — that’s why it’s important to communicate with your artist and choose the best placement together based on your idea.

Another key point is size. If you’re not specifically looking for a mini tattoo, don’t shrink the design too much. I’m totally open to adjusting objects or shapes, but I’ll always push for the right placement and size based on my experience — it really makes all the difference.

And remember: it’s in my own interest to bring your idea to life in the best possible way — so it looks bold, stylish, and just right.
